What Muscles Get Sore Snowboarding

Tutorial: Paper Rose

As promised long ago, I show you how to produce a rose out of paper. The pattern is originally not mine, but unfortunately I do not remember where I had found it out on the www and I have it for you once again revisited.

First you have to cut you three six-petalled flowers out of paper. Card stock is probably not suitable for this because it is too stiff. Then you fold every three flowers after the lines I have drawn on the middle flower in the photo.

The 1st Flowering is then cut with scissors to one of the fold lines to the middle. At the 2nd Flower you cut a flower petal, and at the 3rd Two flower petals.

With a little liquid adhesive now on the left and right of the section lying petals pasted over one another.

Now you take a wooden skewer and roll the petals individually about to give them a nice curved shape.

The spikes on the undersides of the flower parts incurred are to be pressed with your finger very gently flat.

The single leaf is with a wooden stick turned into a roll and secured with a tiny dab of glue. In the part with the two petals is also a leaf rolled up and the other tucked into the front. It looks a bit like a funnel. Also this structure fix with some glue.

is now composed of the rose. Add in the middle of the first layer a good dab of liquid glue and put put the next higher position with the leaves slightly and press together well. Then follow the same Scheme put on the next layer.

before the funnel is used, it should be with the scissors down to the top hats, as they otherwise leaves protrude too far out.

Then again recall to insert a nice dollop of liquid glue. At last, reduce the role of the individual petal down a bit and put glue in the funnel.

the rose is finished:

You can then decorate them with glitter or spray with Glimmer Mist. A beautiful play of colors created when the back of your paper has a different color than the front. Of course you can also edit the start, the edges of the leaves with a sponge and ink.

The paper roses can be of any size make if you have the appropriate punch. They are suitable for decorating boxes or greeting cards as well as a table decoration.

Here are some examples of using:
